Dr. Varun Tyagi, India’s first Professional Fitness Photographer and currently India’s Best Fitness Photographer ( As claimed by different media organizations ), based in New Delhi, works with a distinct and creative perspective. He has graduated from the field of Mass Communication, and gained his classroom knowledge from one of Delhi’s Best Mass Communication College, VIPS – GGSIPU. He initiated the trend of fitness photography in India after dropping out his post graduation in Photography by choice from Jamia Millia Islamia University in 2014.

He believes in gaining diversified knowledge to support oneself and to others for a bright future. He is the only Fitness Photographer who has a Doctorate in Fitness Photography in the world. Varun Tyagi as a Nutritionist is Certified in Ayurvedic, Modern, Sports, Maternal ,Child Nutrition, Diet Planning and Dietary Supplements. Also, As a coach he is a certified Gym trainer (Personal Training, Injury Rehab and Anabolic Steroids ) and a Yoga Trainer – 200 Hours ( Yoga Alliance-USA). He has also gained Certified knowledge of “Musculoskeletal Human Anatomy from Harvard University”, “Digital Marketing from IIM Bangalore and University of Edinburgh”, “Digital journalism from Reuters”, “Online Advertising and Social media from University system of Maryland”, and “Stock Trading from Newyork Institute of Finance”. He has done MBA in Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning from DY Patil University, Pune. Also, Varun has won Best Fitness Photographer Award 2021 and Most Iconic Fitness Photographer 2024.

In a short span, Varun has worked with leading fitness brands, fitness celebrities, fitness youtubers, Bollywood celebrities, fitness models, bodybuilders, powerlifters and people with amazing body transformations. Before initiating the trend of fitness photography, Varun had experience of working in different media sectors like Hindustan Times (HT live), DD National, Commonwealth Games 2010 and some event management companies.
